Admissions Requirements for MS in Artificial Intelligence and MS in Game Development
All applicants to our Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Master of Science in Game Development programs should complete their application by the final application deadline for their intended enrollment term. The final application deadline for any term is two weeks prior to the start of classes. Any applications completed after the final application deadline may not be evaluated for the current application term. Applicants must submit the following:

$60.00 application fee.

Applicants with an undergraduate degree in any major other than Computer Science or Computer Engineering will be required to complete an Experience and Skills Self-Assessment within the online application. The self-assessment is not a test and will be considered alongside other admissions materials as a part of our holistic review process.
Official transcripts from ALL colleges and universities attended. International students must provide attested copies or certified-true copies of all academic records. See more about this requirement in the International (Non-U.S. Resident) Applicants section if an applicant has transcripts and other official documentation in languages other than English.
Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended must be sent directly by the issuing institutions. Alternatively, applicants may send their transcripts if they are SEALED in envelopes and STAMPED across the seal by the Office of the Registrar.
Applicants must provide evidence of their completion of a bachelor’s degree with a recommended minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA; for international students, DigiPen will determine the minimum academic performance standards based on the educational system of the individual applicant.
Other official documentation, if applicable. This includes, but is not limited to, official proof of proficiency in the English language (See more about this requirement in the Proof of Proficiency in the English Language section)for non-native English speakers.
Statement of Purpose (Optional). Statement of Purpose questions will be provided as an optional item in the online application. Applicants may choose to answer any or all Statement of Purpose questions.
Letters of Recommendation (Optional). Up to two letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with the applicant’s academic background and/or work ethic, e.g. an instructor, school counselor, or employer may be considered. Recommendation letters from family members will not be considered. Applicants should notify the authors of their recommendation letters prior to entering names. Applicants may choose to enter the contact information for their reference in the online application. The form will email the reference a link to an electronic recommendation form. References may also send their letter of recommendation to admissions@digipen.edu.
General GRE (Optional). Official Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores for the General Test may be sent directly to DigiPen. GRE code: 4193.
